You have completed training as a restaurant or hotel specialist, ideally supplemented by initial leadership experience. You are characterized by your passion for gastronomy and a service-oriented mindset. Flexibility and dedication, including availability on weekends and public holidays, come naturally to you.

Your tasks

  • Leadership of the onboard restaurant team


  • Creating and evaluating the staff schedule
  • Ensuring the smooth running of daily business operations.

  • Implementation of specified economic key figures and quality standards.
  • Coordination between the ship crew and the gastronomy team.
  • Monitoring of inventory levels, conducting stocktaking, and supporting the controlling department.

  • Revenue assurance and monitoring of cash register transactions.
  • Settlement of daily revenues, including revenue submission, and maintaining the trip reports.
  • Daily staff scheduling based on business requirements, either independently or in consultation with the office coordinator.
  • Responsibility for onboard inventory and ordering of supplies.

  • Organization and supervision of order and cleanliness in accordance with the specified HACCP guidelines.

  • Minimization of losses in goods and equipment.
  • Supporting service staff during peak business periods.

  • Welcoming and bidding farewell to guests on board.
  • Regular participation in internal meetings.
  • Onboard complaint management and evaluation of guest feedback questionnaires.
